It is mainly used to control important gramineous weeds which is efficient to control moleplant seed and can prevent young weed to grow in some ways. Also, it can prevent and kill crab grass,paspalum distichum, green bristlegrass ,eleusine indica, amur foxtail, etc. However, it is useless for cyperaceae weeds and broad-leaved weeds.
